Water use optimization
Our irrigation planning tool monitors the water usage on our farm/tree plantation, and it calculates the daily water required by your crops and trees, notifying you when to irrigation, and by how much.
Benefits of our solution
Our platform provides real-time data and advice for improving the irrigation efficiency of your farm or tree plantation.
- Customized irrigation plans based on crop type/tree species, growth stage and local climate conditions
- Remote monitoring of water consumption to minimize waste
- Average irrigation savings of 15%-25%
- Precise fertigation plans (fertilization through irrigation) based on soil nutrient analysis and crop requirements
- Automated notification of irrigation and fertigation schedules
- Interactive dashboards for easy visualization of data
Crop irrigation planning
- We use advanced algorithms adapted to each crop type and growth stage to prepare 5-day irrigation forecasts. Automatic irrigation notifications allow you to plan your irrigation activities and monitor your water usage.
- Soil moisture sensors are not required. We analyze biomass production, plant evapotranspiration, soil conditions, weather forecast and other data remotely to determine the watering needs of your crops.
Keeping trees healthy
Our irrigation models for fruit and ornamental trees have been optimized for arid environments based on two principles:
1. Give trees exactly the water they need.
The daily water requirement is calculated based on the tree species, growth stage (for ornamental trees), harvest cycle (for fruit trees), stress indicators, weather forecast, solar radiation, and other parameters.
We add a fraction of additional water (known as the Leaching Requirement), to push accumulated salts below the root zone.
Fertigation scheduling
- Our irrigation planning tool provides you with precise fertigation plans based on soil nutrient analysis and crop requirements. This allows you to better manage your input costs and improve your farm profitability.
- Fertigation refers to the injection of fertilizers (such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) directly into irrigated water for more efficient delivery to the root zone.
